Jiangsu International Investment Promotion Centre is a provincial international investment promotion agency directly under the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, the establishment of which has been approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. It is mainly responsible for carrying out two-way investment promotion activities.

Main Functions:

1. Conducting activities to attract more inward investment and boost outward investment, strengthening exchange and collaboration between enterprises of Jiangsu and foreign countries, creating a favourable investment environment and accelerating the development of both domestic and foreign investment companies.

2. Commissioned by Jiangsu Department of Commerce, undertaking coordination and communication with other investment promotion agencies.

3. Organising investment promotion activities hosted, co-sponsored or participated by Jiangsu Department of Commerce.

4. Organising promotion events of "Inviting in" (FDI in China), "Going global" (outward investment), collecting relevant information of two-way investment, and providing public information and consultation services.

5. Carrying out relevant domestic and foreign investment promotion activities and projects, and organising Jiangsu provincial departments, agencies and enterprises to participate in conventions, dialogues, business visits and trainings both at home and abroad for investment promotion.

6. Providing consultation services on laws, regulations and policies with regard to inward and outward investment programmes, and providing domestic and foreign investors with services on trainings, convention and exhibition participation, human resources, etc.

7. Enhancing the contacts and exchanges with domestic and foreign investment promotion agencies and chambers of commerce (business associations) to strengthen collaboration.

Under the principle of “service, innovation and growth”, Jiangsu International Investment Promotion Centre will endeavour to establish a platform to promote two-way investment and push forward the cooperation between domestic and foreign investors for win-win outcome.
